oh, i'm back wif the volley ball spirit as i've been playing it wif my students for the last 2 weeks n its been rather fun considering;
1 - i've stop playing about 5 years ago
2 - i'm the in-charge for volley-ball team for KAKOM tournament
3 - we've already have 3 spikers n another few more potential spiker
4- & finally, lots of setter!!!

Akhirnye, minggu ni da start kelas....n altho it kicked very slow but in the end, it was better that I thought it would be.

Yes, this batch will never replace the experienced I had with the prev batch coz the prev ones are my first batch in my world of teaching and no matter how bad they were (in the eyes of other ppl), it is a perfect 10 to me.

and yup, I was happy when some of them came over to help us during the orientation week of the new-comer but when that event finally set....the thought of might never see them again hurt deeper than I thought it would be.

My collegue was right coz he one told me before...do not get so close with the students coz in the end when they finished study here....the pain of watching them leave is unbareable.

So I admit, I love n missed them so much and hopefully they'll get into the university with the course they aiming for and be a better person in the future.

and for this batch?? it is still early to decide, but i deep down i know...i'll have another perfect moments with this batch too. *fingger crossed*

Another long gap b4 a new post coming up. well, this is expected as my life isnt that free as i used to while still holding the student title.

nway, few weeks back, PSPM II (matric's examination) result came out, n of course i cant wait to check my own students result. Thanx god majority of them improved from prev result which is good. however, thats not what i would like to stress here but wat i want to highlight is those who got lower than I expected.

A few called me (once they got their result) n of course those were the ones with good grades, but there were also a few with lower grades did called me as well, saying their sorry and all. I knew they were very sad....but did they even knew how their lecturer felt?? after putting lots of efforts in teaching n guiding them, n thats what they gave us?? yes, its no used crying over spilt milk...but their result sumhow would also indicating how bad my teaching methods are.

If diorg rasa sedih looking at their result, than their lecturer are hundred times more. but kami x tunjuk je rase sedih tu....we keep on thinking kat mana la salah silap nyer. we or to be more specific, I will never said it was my students' fault ...but it was mine. Anyway, I am happy that none of my students failed!!

and finally, couple days after that, I received a sms from one of my student. well, he wasnt that good in chemistry b4 and his result is B+. altho he didnt get an A, but he really thanx me coz he had improved from F to B+ within 1 semester. And that token of appreciation altho with just a simple text messages saying thanx you was more than enuf to lighten up my day!!!

So, it will be my turn now to say THANK YOU!!!

well, to start things off....I was happy wif version 4.0 on my *devil* iphone wif jailbroken,(JB) state. but dunno what comes into me...suddenly clicked on the upgrade to 4.3 firmware button last couple days ago. of course it will be ok if i didnt JB but hey...most of my apps are cracked version thus i must JB that 4.3 firmware which I did.....and then things started to went off here n there.

iphone will be on tethered condition...which means whenever i reboot d iphone, it will permenantly stuck on the apple logo...altho wif the help of iBooty+iTunes, it still works like shit. ok, i still can cope wif that...untill everytime n then my phone keeps on 'freezes'. the screen non responding n bla..bla..bla

as a result of that...i got feed-up wif d *vavi-like* symptoms. So (digagahkan diri ini) to go to JUSCO Bkt.Indah and get my self a new phone which I hv set my eyes on for quite a while, a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pro. well, the phone seems to be very nice in design small and hey I'M A BIG FAN OF S.E. All prev S.E phones i owned had served me very well.

but...theres' always a bitter part of every sweet things coz this phones was/is/will always be 'HANJENG TAHAP GABAN!!!' why would i curse it like that??? coz if i left the phone alone for just about 10min....it screen will freezes. all the touch screen input become non responsive. but the keyboard input was still ok. Msges, email, updates and call can still be received but hey...how can i read or answer d call if d screen freezes. (dah buat button keyboard tu..nape la x letak button answering call kat situ jugak, sengal tahap vavi+hanjeng tol).

and this morning...that mini phone made another its stupid drama. it wont turn on no matter how many times i pressed the on button. so i googled to look for what might be the caused of this new symptom n found out that the battery was dead, i mean super-duper-utterly-dead. how come??? I connect it on my lappy all night but still. Stupid la.

Well, I manage to get the stupid-idiot mini phone started up....n now still on charging....so that part is done...but the freezes part still havent solve yet. and finally..i come to conclusion as i really have enuf wif this 2....I upgraded my bitchy 4.3 iphone to 4.3.1 firmware and un-JB state. so even tho it will be on un-JB state...I wont care bout it anymore...I'll just hv to live on with it.

and the other bitch?? i'll see how thing goes....if the probs still persist...then i bring it back to the store...n put her into ward. (tho, i do feels like to just throw it to the wall as hard i i could n shout 'U IDIOT, STUPID, PATHETIC, BITCH PHONE...go rott in hell'.....but i wont coz i pay 1k for it.~sigh

oh..this weekend has been one of the tiring trip coz went to Jengka, which took about 6 hours trip sitting duck in a car the place is pretty isolated from the main road. but hey....I did manage!!! Muahahahaha!!! *claps..claps..claps*

so...what did i do in jengka?? visiting friends?? yup..but the main reason was a collegue of mine has been invited to give a talk at our 'siblings technical college' - pahang technical college and to get the spice up, I also hv a friend who teach chemistry too overthere. So without gave too much thought about it...I agreed to join my friend on this trip to jengka.

right after gambang's junction, we joked about not goin to jengka but T'ganu instead. Well the phrase 'be careful wat u wish for' really need to be watch out for coz we did took the wrong turns and went half the way up to T'ganu. :P but hey...we did managed to get back on the right track *thanks to my iPhone*

Jengka's technical college was big and hv a very nice surrounding. even looks like a partial university college site looks-alike. nice kan!!

well...thats it now...gotta prepare the slides for monday's lecture. so untill then, stay safe, stay healthy and kicking!! mmuuuuaaaahhh!!!

finally after nearly 4months working my ass off, finally i got 2 see d result of all the hardwork!! yay!!!

my students get their results today and only god knows how happy I am...(n of course how nervous i was b4 the result came out).

i guessed, it is really as the folks said, ' ur students' achivement is ur achivement too'!!!

imagine a student who entered matrics wif failed in chemistry can get a 4flat result and another one who got F during UPS got B+ during final.

altho there were no saltwater falling down my cheek but it welling up in my eyes and its already flood inside!!!

and yes..the phrase 'Thank you Sir' is more meaningful dan ever!!

I know I'd been away WAY TOO LONG. but hey..here I am.

Well, I will start working at

Kolej Matrikulasi Teknikal Johor

(Johor Matriculation Technical College)

located very2 near pontian kecil.

n start working this August 2nd 2010.

I still haven't got a proper rental house yet.

Teacher Quarters inside the college are full with single female lectures.

So I gotta find another houseoutside college area.

Finally, I was told that my bike can be ready by this weekend.

So..i pretty much happy bout it

coz it is much-much less stress-full when u hv ur own transport.

First of all, enjoy this song!!

This afternoon I called my mum...n I cant even recall when was the last time I called my parent (my dad just on his way to mosque anyway). well, we started off with my brothers who just lost his Satria GTi recently. Poor him, bad lucks keep following him again n again. ~

then my mum told me that she went to ayer hitam, just to enjoy the scenery over there n meeting up with our fellow colleagues from KL which just happen to have a trip to Johor that weekend. overall, good news!!

ooh..my parent's little farm just been destroyed by pigs!!!! n my mum so frustrated bout it!!!

After 55mins talking...my dad came bak from the mosque. So I have a little chat with him...then off since they were goin' late with their dinner. hehehe

well what else...ooh ya, my friends n I just shipping our stuffs home today!! N now my the rooms (well i dont bout others) but my room seems rather empty!!!

I think I remember an old ppl saying that the rooms resembles the heart of the owner...well, it sure does now!!

Hi all!!!

I believed i have been away for quite a long time....why?? personal reason.

Anyway, hope u guys doin' well, healthy and kicking!!!

here are a little bits and pieces of foods that I encountered for the past few weeks!!

i think, this is 'ayam percik' at Melur Restaurany (can't remember the nearest stop).

a good treat after Go-Ape at Kent

Bihun goreng, roti canai with dhaal, and nasi ayam hainan at 'Jom Makan, trafalgar square.

a good food to replenish energy after a day shopping at Bicester Village.

rice with roast duck + roast chick,

kung-pao chicken,

sweet and sour chicken,

and roast chicken

these are the main courses that my-self with 4 other friends of mine ate last saturday...

at Noodle-Oodle, bayswater.

(good food, good prize, good service, but not so much on staffs' friendliness)

Mint choc-chip ice cream!!!

Well, doesnt really have to be BR. it just happen that the shop near my house only sell this brand, plus Ben Jerry doesnt produce mint-flavour!!

p/s: iceland version is crap, sainsburry's is OK. and I was told by Nick that Tesco's version is far better than Sainsbury's. Although...it still can't beat BR.

Spicy Friend Noodles with Chicken

Tadaa... i make that for my lunch today!!!! Again recipe taken from The Half Hour Cook Book. (of course with a few changes according to ingredients I hv in my cabinets).
Overall it taste good..n pretty much like 'Mee Goreng Mamak'-lite style.

I knw I havent update for nearly a month. No solid reason, just dont feel like blogging for a while in addition with the school-work stressed!!

Anyway I went to Birm last week and had lunch at Bella Italia. sadly they no longer have 'Salmone Asparagus-pizza'. So I ordered a very rich vegetables pizza. N yes, it is still taste marvelous!!!

Met Sukhi and Marie at Thai Edge, for lunch. n catching any new story n all.

and finally, Go Ape-ing at Leeds Castle, Kent last Monday!!!
(sorry, no pics coz they are still in my camera and it will take a while to put it up with my snail-speed-internet-connection)

Hooray, this week is my last week at school, well for this term. Then its easter break!!!!

nway....before all that fun start...lets re-visit wat fun things that happened last week;

the guy at asian kebab house already remember our (me, dila, zaini) faces as week hv bn his loyal customer for 3days in a row, ordering briyani/naan!!! (its the best i hv ever taste tho his shop doesnt look that apetizing)
There was a dancing stage competition for raising charity last wed at school!!! Yes..i did play couple times for just 50p!!!! Its is much cheaper than the one at arcade.
For the first time I did a demo experiment that I havent done before (n i not ever practice it) in front of a class...and it does work!!!! well...it was just crackling hydrocarbon, so not that bad.
I made slime on my other practical class with year 12. well, just making the slime part is fun!!!! Sorry no pict was taken. :(
I made another pasta with creamy-cheese sauce!!! (I'm not sure what part in this is fun??)

p/s: easter break..what should I do?? Go Ape anyone??

ermm...where should I start??? :S

Last week was a science week at my school which turns out to be the same for all schools acroos UK (thats wat I've bn told)..and it started off with Tropical Forest's Zoo on Monday/Tuesday.

They bring the typical kind of animals u will expect to see i.e: snakes, chameleon, lizards, giant millipede, spides etc. But above all....have anyone of u ever seen a cincila????? Its the cutest being I ever set my eyes on to apart from cats and rabbits!!! My definition of cincila is, it has a tail of a squirrel, body and ears of a slightly overgrown rat, and a face of a rabbit. (sounds weird isn't??)

well...cute kan???

(and yes, I did touched and hugged it on monday!!!)

Ok...put that white honey aside, on that monday as well, we were visited by a group of disabled children from Oaklands special school!!! I finally found out that they came to this school every year for this event. Looking at them, I realize how lucky I am althou I've keep thinking I've the shittiest days on a week before that. No matter how unfortunate u think u are...there is always someone else who is more unfortunate than u. I honestly respect the teachers for this disabled school. Unfortunately I can't put all the pics on the web, so here is a pics of 2 lads that I work with which I will treasure every bits of it!!!

Well...tuesday was supposed to be an exciting chemistry day..but since there was an expected event...its bn postponed to friday. So..here goes Wed, which I spent my lunch time with pig's legs!!! It was a pigs trotter dissection session for Year 7!! It was a biology session, whr u will look on the tendon, filamen, and fluid of some sort...but since its kind of interesting and easy to do...so I also took part in it!! (helping, of course)

I was told that they bought with just for a quid for 3!!!

And finally...I joined school science club activity on wed evenin...making bomb using cokes and mentos!!! (cant really recall when was the last time I did that...probably 6/7 years ago??!!)

ooh, the students were asked to made a model of how they are going to put the mentos into the cokes.

Oh, u have absolutely no idea of how creative these young lads can be esp when they were provided with tons and tons of legos!!!!!

Yay..I finally manage to gather all the spirits and strength in my body to somehow updating this blog. Well, when u start getting 'drowning' in ur placement, everythings seems to hold u off from doin' other things (which usually less important) n things-that-are-not-related-to-placement.

Anyway, first things first...My current placement is just in Hounslow. So its not that far compared to prev. placement but sumhow the journey take more/less the same time. ~sigh.
Its St. Marks Catholic School. Yes, I know..it is another catholic school for me. But hey, who cares...
So far, everything went so slow and boring. Oh, I am teaching A-level's students now. So they kinda of smart already (n my school is one of the top school btway), n dont really need much help from me to be honest. It is just about 8 or 9 students in a class, so one teacher is more than enuf to handle which somehow makes me feels like an idiot sitting in the class (observing is the word I use) doing nothing. ~double sigh

To be honest wif u guys, I am actually enjoy my times in st.micheal (prev. plcment). Teaching Year 9/10/11. At least they made use of me. Asking me questions etc. It is more lively there.(Full Stop!!!)

I called my parents last night. We chatted for a bit (more/less an hour). Nothing much to tell. My brother in law's new job is in penang. So my sis don't have to move. The rest are pretty much the same. Then, my mum told me about the SPM results and again, my school, SASER received the title as the best school altho none of them got the title of the best SPM candidates. But hey..overall, they still did a really good job. (Hooray..hooray) in keeping the title of the best school.

hah, those are the hostels (only 3 are shown: Red, Blue, Yellow) Well, the last one u can guess pretty easy what colour it is aren't you??! I bet I am lucky I was one of the early batch for the school coz at my time, the buildings were just in standard 'school-building-colour' and now...it look like a kindergarten. But despite all that, SASER is still the best. ;)

well, I watched Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief last friday and it was a total disaster. The book is awesome but the way they change the storyline for movie-version is very10x poor. Here I describe few small/big differences btw the book and the movie. (I cant refer back to the book coz my friend borrow it at the moment, so i just put watever thing that i can recall)

Book: We been introduced to Percy's water power outside the history museum as he accidently do that to his classmate (a bully), and his english teacher (Mrs. D-sumthing) ask him to follow her into the museum. she asked him 'where is it' and then attack him by transforming into a fury. Percy is save by his Latin teacher, Mr.Bruner and finally the fury is disintegrate into dust.

p/s: 'it' in the question asked by the fury is refers to the Hades' Halmet of Darkness.

Movie: While introducing the greek gods inside the museum, Mrs.D ask Percy to follow her into a room where she asked percy where is the lightning bolt. Then Grover and Mr.Bruner came in and the fury run away. Mr.Bruner then give percy 'Riptide', a magic pen that can be turned into a sword.

Book: On his way home, Percy saw 'The fates' and they show him a sign that he will die soon.

Movie: No such thing.

Book: Percy left grover in the bus station. But later grover finds him and percy's mother at their cabin (cant remember whr) and ask him to leave now as his life is in danger.Then they drive to camp half-blood. It was night, and the weather was horrible.

Movie: Grover follows percy to his house, smack percy's stepfather, and told percy's mum to drive to camp half blood. It was still daylight and the weather is fine.

Book: They were attcked by minotaur. Percy's mum ask him to go up to the hill and get pass a pine tree (which acts as a border btw a mortal world and a demigod's world). Then she was 'killed' by minotour, and percy's killed it using its horn.

Movie: they arrive into a jungle whr they reached a gate with words camp-half-blood on it. Percy's mother is 'killed' by minotaur, and percy attcked usng riptide. in the end he defeat the monster using its horn.

Book: The 12 cabins (houses/hostels for the demigods) are builded specifically to give U-shaped and the buildings are white and decorated depending on the God that represent the house. There are field of strawberries, volleyball courts, sword and archery arena etc.

Movie: No such things as 12 cabins in U shape. They pratice sowrds and achery everywhere. no field or volleyball court etc.

Book: Percy's god-half in undetermined, so he was out into cabin 11 (Hermes).

Movie: Percy's god-half is already determined. The cabin is near the lake and no other cabins around.

Book: Mr.Bruner (chiron, a centaur) is a white stallion.

Movie: He is dark chocolate centaur.

Book: While playing catch-the-flag game at night, percy team-up with luke (cabin 11) and annabeth (anthena's) and fight Clarisse (Ares's). Then he was attacked by a hell-hound but able to defeat it. While healing himself using a ond of water, a posseidon's mark appear above his head, and then he was determined as the child of posseidon. So he moved to cabin 3.

Movie: Percy's tem-up with luke and fight annabeth in a broad day light. (clarisse is not even mentioned)

Book: Percy seek oracle to get a prophecy for his quest to find the stollen lightning bolt.

Movie: They ran away from camp to start the quest. No such thing as oracle.

Book: Before they went out for the quest, chiron give percy 'Riptide', and Luke give percy the flying shoes. (Annabeth has invisible cap). Later, Percy then give the flying shoes to grover.

Movie: Chiron give 'Riptide' to percy on the museum at the beginning of the movie. Luke give percy a shield and flying shoes. no such thing as invisible cap.

Book: Their quest is straight to find Hades to clear things out. The 3 pearls are given to Percy by a water spirit at a beach bay, later in their quest.

Movie: They need to get 3 pearls first before get go to Hades lair.

Book: They were attacked by 3-Fury-ies on a bus. And the bust explode. the they found a bar (madusa's lair)

Movie: No Fury-ies involved. They sget out of a bus nicely and No explosion involved. They went to madusa's lair to get their 1st pearl.

Book: Ares meet them, and asked them to do something for him. He then rewared them with begs full of foods and clean clothes. Then went to lotus hotel. once they get out of the hotel, then they went to a beach and received 3 pearls given by a water spirits.

p/s: no hydra involve. They first encountered a hydras in the second book.

Movie: They encountered hydras, get the 2nd pearl. then went to Las Vegas to Lotus hotel to get the 3rd pearl.

Book: In their journey inside the Underworld, they came across 'The pit of tartarus', where Kronos is prisoned. The flying shoes went nuts and drag grover into the pits but percy and annabeth save him.

Movie: No pit of tartarus, no kronos. They went straight to the Hades mansion.

Book: The bag given by Ares is increased in weight (but percy ignore it). When they meet hades, he asked hor his helmet of darkness and does not interested in the lightning bolt. But he mentioned that the bolt is in percy's bag. Percy realize he was tricked by Ares. Then he makes a promised to get Hades helmet back and returned the bolt to Zeus and set things right. He demand Hades to return his mother back to live.

Movie: Hades want the bolt and the bolt was hidden in the shield given by Luke. No helmet mentioned.

Book: Becaused ther are only 3 pealrs, so only 3 ppl can leave the underworld. So percy mother offered to stay behind.

Movie: Grover offered to stay behind.

Book: Percy fight with Ares at a beach. Later he found out that Ares also have Hades' helmet of darkness. Kronos' voice interfered their battle. He beat Ares and retrieved both lightning bolt and helmet. A Fury appeared, and percy pass the helmet to the fury and ask it to return the helmet to his master, Hades.

Movie: Percy fight with luke on top on a building. Percy still have the flying shoes.

Book: He alone went to the olympus. Only posseidon and Zeus are present. He told the whole story including Kronos. He later find out that Kronos was the Gods' father, wanting a revenge.

Movie: He went to the olympus with his mum and annabeth altho his mum later cant pass thru a barrier. All gods r present at the olympus.

Book: On the final day at the camp, Luke ask Percy to go into a jugle to fight monsters. But instead, he tricked Percy by poisoning him using a scorpion (summoned by luke from the pit of tartarus) and told the truth (Luke is the one who steal both lightning bolt and the helmet).

Movie: Luke never returned to the camp after his fight with percy. No scorpion/poisoning involved. (in the end, they did not mention anything about Kronos at the story just end like that)

Watched this trailer already??? Well I came acroos to the book first before I then found out that the first book is on its way to the cinema.
This is the second time for book I stumbled upon which then turns out going to be on screen. The first one was Twilight. Yeah, the vampire series. I searching through on waterstones website and right before I decide to buy it, I was then found out its gonna be on cinema real soon. I was lucky that I didnt bought it coz the new moon's book was rubish. scarlet also just about right.

And then wednesday last week I went to waterstones stores looking for some books to kill time and thats where I bought all the five book in this series. Then later in the night, I finally knew that the first book gonna be on cinema too, quite soon I guess. Well, the lightning thief is awesome!!! Finished reading it in a day!! (I just can't stop reading it). Can't really wait for its movie. The trailer seems promising!!

Then second book, sea of monsters, is also marvelous!! Altho not as thick as the first one but argh...I just cant stop reading it. Now I m on the third one, Titan's curse. Gosh, seems like I need to loom for another books or series next week. Its worth buying them.

Contagious by scott sigler is already on my next list. His first book that I read was infected. This is also kind of a series. first was infected, followed by contagious and the next one is Ancestor. These books are sci-fi horror. Not as cant-put-down-from-the-begining-to-the-end as the demigod series above, coz for these ones, ur mind need a break processing wat u just read.

p/s: oh, which the last book of the power of series will be out soon!!!

OOh hi and godd morning all!!!
Just woke up but feel so lazy to get up. I got a week break anyway so don't have to do anything except filling up my stomach!! :p

While lying on the bed, my mind flew all the way back to when I was still in lower highschool. Met cool friends, went for various camping etc. There is a junior when ppl said he resembles me in some way. From other ppl view, he also talk very fast just like me, but form my view he speed is normal. well, probably we are from the same kind. hahaha

Then havent met him for like 6years until I went to UITM Skudai, Johor last summer for my friends graduation. I met my junior again there and my friend told me that he just remember why my junior (which also practically his junior in UITM) reminds him so much bout me. We have quite a chat and argue there coz he think he didn't talk too fast as well as catching old stories. my friends said it is like watching two twin argue who talk fast but in fact both of them do. It really was a fun night anyway.

Anyway...ppl will not understand what am i saying on the first meeting. But as the time goes by, they will catch on. ~ooh crap, I need to slow down.

Real or Just A Mind Trick??

Have u guys ever felt like u've been pressed on by something while u were sleeping before?? I bet phenomena like this are pretty common to those who-used to lives in hostel. Its often called 'tindih' in Malay.

'As long as u can make just a tiny bit of movement u'll be free but to do so its hardly impossible without getting help from other' - thats the common sentence ppl would say.

Or the religious ones will say. 'recite ayatul Qursi' and u'll be free.

Both methods are correct and indeed useful. How do I know that?? I have experienced it althought most of the times, I was able to make a small movement (and it always comes later in my mind to read ayatul Qursi).

Anyway..this is just a matter of do u believe in ghost?? or actually do u believe this situation is caused by ghost or any other sort of paranormal being??

I cant even remember when was the first time I experienced this but definitely when I was 16. I used to think and believed it was ghost. and often in my mind wat would happen if I see 'it' or wat will happen to me if I dont do anything to release my self.. (but of course I didnt do that when that happen)

Did not happened during my three years in Birm but here in St.Mary's, Twickenham I think I've experienced it more that ten times already. Bu u know when have experinced it so many times, somehow u kinda u get used to it and dont bother to do anything bout it.

Well, let me tell u wat was happened (or more or less, what i think is happened) during that time.

#case 1#

I was sleeping (obviously) and then I awoke, (sometime u just happen to wake up from ur sleep altho there are no outside disturbance causing it). It was definitely way past 1 or 2am coz it was very quiet and dark (I sleep with lights off anyway). I did not get-up but I did look around. Everything was fine and suddenly I just cant move my feet. And then i felt like something cold crawling from my feet up to the top of my head. I didnt saw any sort of image or shadow-like thing but deinitely I cant move any parts of my body at all. My whole body faced straight-up to the ceiling but only my head was turned (or being force) to the side. I tried to look up but i cant. I didnt felt any sort of finger like on my face but 100% positive there is something covered-up my body and head. I tried and tried to scream and making any movement by nothing happened. I cant even remember for how long I'm battling for it and somehow I was able to move just the end tip of my finger and then I was free. (see, I told you it never occured to me to recite ayattul Qursi in the first place. I guess when u were panicked, it never crossed ur mind).

I get up from bed and breathed rather heavily. Bismillah, istifar and 'Selawat' flew straight out of my mouth, washed my face with cold water and switched the lights on. Then I went back to sleep again untill dawn.

#case 2#

I was sleeping and this time I awoke because I felt something lay besides me. (it feels like when u are on the bed, then somebody joined u) -that kinda feeling. I didnt dare to look what it was so i kept quiet and then it start to cover my body and there u go...I cant move my body again. - then I did the similar thing as above but sumtimes I did recite ayattul Qursi, bismillah etc.

I remember the first incident happened somewhere in mid-oct which is the #1. It happens so many times which I then start to ignore it. And then cases like #2 happened . And again it happen to me quite a lot, so I just dont bother with it.

And it happened again last night more like a case two but this time i definitely felt it kinda hairy or something. I tried to scream but nothing came out and it only last for less than a minute. Then I just felt like an idiot. So I stopped and just ignore. Suprisingly afterwards I can move again.

i think I have experienced it almost every week or more or less 2 or 3 times in a month. Only one cases it happen 3times in a week which continuously happened from 1 night to the other. And all of these happened in Twickenham. Hahaha...wat kind of luck do i get here. ~haih

Anyway I started to feel like it was more just a mind tricks rather than 'the unknown being'. But why do I said so?? Coz sometimes I felt like I awoke for the second times. Well, maybe its tru for some cases.

This thing cant harm us anyway...so just let it be.

p/s: I know that I havent post anything for the last couple weeks. Just dont feel-like-to-do-so at that moment.

well, lets summarize things thats happened to me recently...

i skipped my whole monday class,

bought a mini-bar fridge on tuesday (but it will arrive 2mrw tho)

and do nothing for wed!!

again recipe taken from 400 best-ever soups recipe's book

unfortunately, today's weather pretty suck n wet..so there's none pic taken for today.

Tagliatella with spicy satay sauce!!!

(recipe was adapted from the 'half-hour cook')

make quick satay sauce by using crunchy peanut butter, coconut milk, a bit of chillies pwder and a dash of soy sauce. then poured on a cooked pasta with some veg. garnish with slices of hard-boiled egg and sprinkle with crushed chillies.

the taste was more or less like a mee-rojak penang!!!

Oh...my family are moving to Kluang, Johor next week. Mum n Dad went to see the house and clean it up. Poor mum, just moving to a new house in keramat in last week, having my sis wedding the week before and now moving to Johor this 15Jan. Wish I'm home to help her out. My bro just moving to subang recently and his new job requies him to go outstation more often than the last one.

Nway, my sis n my new brother in law coming back to KL last weekend. Not sure if they still there. Hoping they will stay to help my parents out. *Why everything must happen now??!!*

Just google it online u'll find thousand of pages offering this game. But i suggest u download the swf.file version so u guys can play oflfline rather than play it on9 *coz some may have crap internet connection like mine*

Guilty Pleasure

ooh, hi all.

well actually as u guys may already knew that i made cauliflower soup yesterday, n i used chicken stock as a base instead of vege stock. which was totally fine wif me. however my friend offered the soup to my housemate and she forgot that my housemate is a vegan.
suprisingly, she (my housemate) said the soup was really, really good. anyway i couldn't bring my mouth to say that i used chiken stock so i just asked if she is okay with single cream (which is normally ok for vegeterian but no for vegan)..and she replied...she do eat it sometimes.

to make thing worst..i was in the middle of making another batch of the cauliflower soup and she asked me if that is the same soup. Well of course i said yes n then she asked if she can have some.
How could i say NO...so i just said, yeah..sure..feel free.

I know..it isn't good for not telling her the truth...but if i said i used chicken stock in this soup...its obvious that she will be able to figure out that i used chicken stock in the soup yesterday as well. i dont want her to feel bad..plus she totally loves it. (u guys should see how her face was..)
then she asked for the recepi which thank god that it mentioned vege-stock instead..~fuhhh
I feel guilty know...n i'll used vege-stock for the next time but its such a pleasure u know, when someone likes ur cooking.

luckily...i did asked her what would happen if she eat meat or something that she normally avoid. thankfully she said nothing would happen really. she become a vege-vegan because of her parents not due to any allergies of something. ~fuhh..thank god.

p/s: i bet if i ever cooked some meat and i said its mock-meat..n if she loves it...could it be possible that she will change from a vegan to a normal meat eater. (ok, this is evil talking//i should respect her decision. if she eat no meat or animal related product..then so be it)

It was a heavy snow fall starting from 18th night up untill 19th dec. our plan to travel and explore around the area of wan's house were cancelled. But somewhr around 3pm...its stopped and the outside were just nice with white snow covered almost everything and it was deep!!!!

Hi all...
i know its been really a while since my last post. wello, dont blame me...blame the holy-day!!! (its causes me to become more 'malas-er' than usual) :p

anyway, i've finished my last placement on my first school, St Micheals RC Secondary School its a luvly school and i am totally enjoy all my times there. special thanx for the teachers and my fellow students.

p/s: sorry for the explosion on the last day.....but that was nice.

another thing, i've done couples of demo on 'jumping sodium', which u all can see the video by clicking here
but then on my last day, we slightly change the method, using white spirits instead of gasoline. then we put acetone (propanone) on top of it, which just gonna stay on top instead of mixing with water (due its density). u can lit up a fire on top of the tube since acetone is flammable. however the interesting part come after once it all done. we pretty much sure that everything has reacted then poured all of it in the sink and suddenly the fire came out of no-where. which pretty much shocked. (but luckily the alarmed was covered in a beaker). then after we put off the fire, cleaned up our mess...suddenly an explosion occur!!!! coming from the sink ealier. which then made all of us wet. ~sigh.

after we told the techichan of what was happned, couple more teacher joined n interested and even asked me to do it again the next day!!! hahaha...but sadly it was my last day, so it too bad. but hey..tts was great!!!!!

Birmingham

Oh, i went back to Birm for 4days. Just catching up with my old-friends and juniors/seniors. It was fun plus i do miss them. Went to chemistry department to meet my supervisor and she is pregnant. (ooh...i forgot to get her a card) we chatted a while and had some luch together.
Also went to german-market near the victoria square...n it was still nice. nothing much different from the last couple of years...but you know, when this will be ur last to see it...its kinda sad actually. and had dinner at the handmade burger restaurant in fiveways!!!
Met Ed right before i'm boarding my train. He's working with water company now and still looking for another job that suits him better. but anyway..its a nice thing to catch up with all of them.

yup, this year, its coming bak to birm!!!

Maastricht - Day 1

Finally...I set my foot in this land!!!! Been promised to wan that i'll come over and so there I am. Its actually quite easy to travel from eindhoven to maastricht.

Do u guys know the feeling travelling to a place that u don't understand any single bit of what they are saying or wrote on the signs...its like u landed on an alien planet or something??? well...thats my 1st impression there and I actually enjoyed it. That is what travelling is all about. u go to any place where u have not even a slight idea of what is all about.

met azwan at the train station and rent 2 bikes (thats gonna be our main transport here). Went to maastricht city later in the day until evenin. enjoying the way they welcoming xmass and also the cold weather!!!

there was a blizzard at the evenin' and i was separated from wan n farid on our way back home which then i lost since a took a bloody-wrong turn. hehehe. but thats nothin' to be panicked of since i hv my henset wif me.

Valkenburg - Day 2

Valkenburg is another pretty nice old village and its actually a tourist spot. With a -12 degree on that day tho the sun do came out, never believe its gonna be a warm sunny day especially if its winter.

ok, this is not Valkenburg village. This is sumwhere around 2km after Bemelen towards Valkenburg.

and yes, we all riding a bicycle to get there...so just imagine how freezing it was. but even so...it still enjoyable!!!!!

At one of the castle ruin in valkenburg. Actually there are around 4 or 5 castles within this area. Dont ask me why it has more than 1 within a place..

I bet u wont find it anywhere else....

Then we took a cable ride...and i forgot that farid is afraid of height!!! Just remembered that when we already on top....my bad

ok..found these horses during our way back home. Wan probably reached home by this time but farid and I really took our time exploring and enjoying the place!!!

last monday, irena visited me at school, just to check me up, how am i doin/gettin' and lucky day for her..i was having a practical class at that time. fortunately everything went well, the students were surprisingly good. i dont mean that were bad before but they were just very talkative that monday...asking questions this and that etc which were totally fun. gonna missed them really once i leave that school next week.

nway..i just bought train ticket to Birm 12-15Dec!!!

I really hate when someone finally singing well and then been voted out of the show. like last week, JEdward sang rather good compared to their prev performances (well, do not include their last sing-of song) and i finally become quite a fan of them but then been voted out, tho it was rather appropriate since the remaining were better.

then last night when Lloyd sang 'Take That's song: A Million Love Songs' which i think was better than his prev live perfomances, but then again the others were better. ~haih

today class went pretty well n abit boring. then went to Hounslow to buy some chicken for raya and dinner. dunno why i'm craving for briyani so asked aishah to buy some briyani takeaway and gonna make some for raya as well. "briyani for life" :p

then talked to my mum, just bout how the wedding preparation goin' etc. yh, its been a while since a last talk to my mum, so it take us bout 1 hour to finally running out of credit. hahah. miss my family so much.

oh, talk bout miss....i dunno what was wrong wif me tonight, i feel a bit lonely (well, of coz diz was b4 my mum called, u see what a great timing it was when my mum called me!!)
dunno what went wrong actually, but i just feel like kinda missing my 'birm' feeling. u know things like being around lots of people esp during the fastive night like this where i obviously busy in kitchen wif others helping me out.

well actually, it is not birmingham that i really missed but the people. all my frens like wan, nabil, fairy, hairi, rusya, meysa, lin etc...evryone that i usually hang out wif, go out for eating, movie, bowling, sing star, *dancing*...arghh...really miss that.

As most of you may have have known bout' it already, JEdward has finally bn voted out. well, yes i wish for that since the begining but as Simon said 'I'm really gonna miss you guys'. Its true they are rubbish at singing (we all reached to that fact ages ago already) but they keep the show entertaining. anyways, the best man win and this twin has gone far enuf in the competition. So lets' put a stop to it.

i've been cooking a lot today. even angela said 'i saw u cooking three times today, is there any special occasion?'. Well i just being happy and most importantly be my self. plus its been a while since a taste a good dishes, which suits more to my appetite. (i'm not saying foods at refractory aren't good at all, i just prefer mine).
So i make Cocktail-pudding (using leftover pudding from yesterday) for breakfast, lamb briyani for lunch, tom-yum style fried vermicelli and bread pudding for dinner.

ok, first of all the title of this post is taken from the starting of LG's radio advert. just happen to heard it right when i was cracking my mind to find the title for this post.

nway, today when to kingston's sainsbury (the large one) and get some hair cut. nothin' much happen for during the haircut. tho i kinda hate the way i look right now. but nothing can be done, so just have to deal with it. oooh, while waiting for my turn, i talked wif another customer of that hairdresser-shop, and he said i'm look too young to be a teacher trainee (u look like 15, never thought u are 22). hahaha!!!
(well, its kinda rare actually for ppl saying i'm younger than i look) ;)

once done, head straight to sainsburry's (mainly to get my new ice-cream stocks) but unfortunately they just cleared up their stock and asked me to go to the other kingston's-sainsbury's-branch which located near to the place whr i got my hair done. ~duh
so, never mind. will get the ice-cream later (coz i was so lazy to walk all the way back).

while paying for the other items i bought, there were a group of school-scout helping customers putting their items in the bags for donation of *sumthing which i can't recall what*
well, tho i dont really need help with packing but yeah i still received help from them. so i gave *some* for the donation and *some* to them for just having a kind heart.

dunno why i'm being so nice today. probably the main reason was i kinda relaxed today plus i think my microteaching went well (but not perfect yet) and nothing much goin' around my head.
make my self a gud and heavy breakfast, then a baked-sweet potato-mashed, custard-sweet corn pudding, and pizza for diner. (i am suprising eat a lot today)

ooh, no comment for x-factor tonite coz i wasn't really pay attention to it since i was working on my lesson plan for this coming monday. but as far as i can remember, everyone were great. so will see who will be voted out 2mrw + mariah carey will perform during the result show!!!

My Headache Will Never Stop

Ever since Xfactor started, i wish for John/Edward to be in bottom 2 which eventually get kick off from the show. well, the first part came true. the twin did gt in d bottom 2 2getha with the beautiful lucy (pardon me, but she is beautiful right?? and look very feminine and very sweet and..and bla bla bla, i can go on forever with this).

We all know facts that she can sing and the twin are not but suprisingly during the survival song, the twin actually can sing (rock DJ by Rb.Williams). i was totally blown off. never expect they can nailed it actually.

put those things aside, the judges couldnt decide who they gonna send home so they leave it to public choice. Lucy started crying when the judges choosed that decision as if she knew she'll be leaving and yes, she did gt the lowest votes. GBye Lucy, you've bn great all this time.

Now, i lost another reason why i watchd Xfactor in the first place altho Cheryl is still there. :P

ever imagine to produce fire just using chemical, no lights or candle needed. well, here is one suggestion; pour some glycerol onto a pile of KMnO4 and waits. (yup, that is all u need)

my sis dh bertunang (engage) with a guy i neva meet b4 (meaning she broke up wif the other guy) so no comment bout that.

n here comes the sad part...the wedding date is sumwhr in Dec/Feb. So most likely (or probbly def) i can't come. nvr mind....we still got plenty of 'helpers' to do the 'job'.

oh...i'm @ skudai, johor at the moment. attending my frens' convo this monday!!

anyways...i've done my uk visa!!! so will def. coming bak to uk this 3rd Sept!!! can't wait for that...n it might be my last time goin' thr...(oohh...ok i'm not gonna cry)

wats' left to do is just get a letter of good conduct...which hopefully done this wed or this week at least!!!

then get ready for Ramadhan (fasting month)...n bak to uk (tho i'll be on my own this time wif a 10hrs transit in Dubai...(T______T)

I bought dinner from SuiZen last wed (since i ws jst arrvd 4rm London and don't bother to cook) and together with d order were 2fortune cookies....

I ate 1 on dat nite and it mentioned;

dah lah my result was released day after dat...too bad i didn't bring dat flower with me as my lucky charm.

and few not-so-good things happened on dat day as well....then buat makan-makan just for final students kat rumah nana...n thx god it was great :P

then dat night ate another 1 of the fortune cookie...which saying;

Another Polenta!!!!

cheesy-cauliflower polenta

(i didnt actually measured the amount, so i just guessing the amount here)

1 cauliflower head (about 3 cups of cauliflower florets
4 - 6 tbsp butter (divide into 2, 1part for cauliflower, another for polenta)
1 cup polenta
4 cups water (i used water from boiled cauliflower) - for polenta (i think, i used slightly more coz the polenta bcomes a bit watery)
cheese (the amount and which cheese is according to ur taste) - i used cream cheese with garlic n herbs (don't really recomended it unless u really like it). u can use any cheese u want. blue cheese, mozarella, parmesan, cheddar, red leichester etc. (these are the cheese tt i've tried n taste with polenta.
single cream ( i guess around 1/4 cup)
2-3 tbsp of lemon juice
salt n pepper
a bit of crush chili flakes (optional)
parsley(optional)

boiled cauliflower till very soft (u can add a bit of salt in the water), then mash it. i want it to have a bit of cauliflowr chunk in it so i puree it by hands. (using food processor would be easier)
add half of the butter, half of the single cream, half of lemon juice, a bit of cheese n lighly seasoned with salt n pepper and a bit of parsley. (adjust according to ur taste)
boil up the water, add in polenta gradually and constantly stirring.
when it is nicely set , with constant stirring, add the remaining butter, cheese, lemon juice and single cream.
add the cauliflower mash. cntinue stirring and seasoned with salt n pepper.
add a drizzle of crush chillies and transfer into the container. (or straight to ur dish) and add a pinch of parsley just b4 serving.
(i eat it together with sweet chilli sauce n mayonaise)

preferably eating it hot, or lightly fried (after cool it down) rather than eating it cold. but a friend of mine (fairy) say it taste good even its cold (but i don't like it)
i always lightly fry the polenta slice when i want to eat it and i think this polenta taste marvelous!!! (yes i hate the taste when it cold, but total yummy after i fried it) :D

p/s: if u r not a cauliflower lover...then i guess u wont like this.
p/s: i've tried polenta with sweet potato b4 (n i can eat it either cold or hot)
p/s: wondering wat would it taste if i using fish or meat next time or probably strawberry flavor polenta. hahaha...

2/3 ari lepas asyik usha resepi. niat nk masak but punyer lah mls nk g beli brg.~haih
then finally end up kat resepi thai, jumpe kat website nih. (giler suker thai's food, myb sebab rase dier masam-masam masin kot) hahaha..

actually resepi asal was sardine tom yum (kenapa pilih sardine?? sbb mmg ader lgi 1 tin sardin kat umah, nk mghabiskan stock actually). then selepas ubah suai..tmbah sana sini...jdi lah ini

mee tom yum campur

(gmbar buruknyer)

spaghetti - boiled with a lil bit of oil, lemon juice and salt. (sajer je letak lemon, i hv no idea why)

masak tom yum mcm biasa (either gune paste or traditional) but biar kuah pekat sket. masukkan sardine, sayur ( i used tomato, chilies, cauliflower), a bit of fish sauce and lemon juice, a bit of curry powder (about 1 tsp), leave for 5-10 mins then pecahkan telur. (niat asal nk pecahkan telur dlm senduk, then celup dlm periuk, let it harden a bit then bru kacau, but x jadi...ngahaha). tutp api then masukkan sket single cream. (masak sekejap if gune santan). bley jugak klu gune susu cair. (utk pekatkan kuah)

letak cooked spaghetti tdi dlm mangkuk and tuang kuah tom yum kat atas. siap. hahah.
bg aq, rase dier boleh tahan sedap. (abeslah 1 mgkuk tue dgn sekelip mata).

p/s: honestly, bahan2 tue main campak jer dlm periuk, xtaw berapa byk gune. :P

sblm tue...i'm totally agree ngan memey nyer post last friday (korg bukak lah blog meysa yer). patut2nyer...org kpm nih bgtaw lah apa-benda axactly yg diorg nk buat. like memey said..tajuk pun x bgtaw. in fact when my friend tanyer psl program nih...xtaw aper nk jawab. tggu dan lihat jelah. to make it worst...memula si fairy nih kater progrm start 9am. then around 11pm friday nite..she texted me, program start at 8.30 am. ~duh lgi awal apasal. (obvsly ppl like myself susah nk bgn awal kot!!!) but watever lah kan...

so...lin, dzul (my guest) n i came around 9.20 am on the 1st day of the program (finally i know tts it was a seminar). altho kitorunk lmbat giler..pengarah dh start ckp pun...but aq x kira. klu nk marah2 aq, aq blah jer balik umah. but shit!!! diorg x kesah pun ~xdpt aq nk balik umah~ ;(
(on the 2nd day...again me n Dzul dtg 9.20am) ~ hahaha giler x punctual kan.

apart from tts...everything was great. memey, rusha, hanisah, aq, qied (birm), dzul + afif (mnchster), azira n syauqi (york) dlm 1 team called 'berenang'. thanx god all my team8s sgt2 lah sporting...

Last Monday…went for back to back movie with fairy, hairi, meysa, lin, farid n yusri…
me and fairy watched The Haunting in Connecticut + Fast n Furious
while hairi, meysa n lin watched 17 again + Fast n Furious
farid n yus really wanted to watch race to witch mountain and fast n furious…

basically we all watched fast n furious.. =D

anyway let me goes with the few movies I’d seen within 1 month period

Bolt - yay, totally funny!!! Esp Rhino – the TV-obsessed hamster!!! Yes a hamster!!! Soooooooo cute. Overall this is the perfect movie to watch with ur family. Do carry some moral value. All those characters esp Bolt it self, Mittens, Rhino, the Birds all reflecting human behavior!!!! I gv 4/5!!!!!! ( I even watched this movie over and over again)

He’s Just Not That Into You – after watching the trailer. I cant hardly wait to watch this movie. So many famous and great celebrities in this movie which are known for their great acting capability. But its quite disappointing. ‘Never have men seemed so shallow or women so idiotic as in this movie. This attempt at romantic comedy falls desperately flat. For a film that wants so badly to be a lighthearted comedy, the laughs here are manufactured and weak. Random pop culture references and platitudes pepper this movie like a minefield, leaving its viewers stone-faced.’ – agreed!!! I dunno wat others ppl think but the humor or the comedy their try to bring just make me feels so annoyed!!!!

Who is idiot enuf sitting by the phone everyday wait for her Mr.Right to call???

Monsters vs Aliens – this movie do has some really funny moments, but by the time you get to see them on the big screen you've already seen them plenty of times on the small one. So there's not too much left to offer by buying a ticket. I thought the 3D was OK. They have a couple of moments specifically designed around flexing the 3d capabilities, but again nothing mind-blowing.’ - agreed

Yup…another great family movie!!!! Good to watch with children but not with adults coz u’ll just get very annoyed and cant wait to leave the room. (i consider my self a teenager...so it's fine)

I gv 3/5.

The haunting in Connecticut – when I first read the title I was thinking ‘ nah…this is not a great movie’. So I’m not gonna bother to watch it. But then my housemates and 2 other friends of mine did watch it n they said it was a total horror movie. Well then tts change my mind. (coz I am really a big horror movie fan).

But I dunno. Something went wrong with the movie. It doesn’t look so horror to me. (sorry to the fan)

If you want a pretty scary movie that's not about torture porn, but back to basic ghosts and mystery, THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT delivers exactly that. It’s a mix btwn ‘the Amityville horror + unborn + the maid + poltergeist’. (Anyway don’t watch the Unborn…its sooo cheap horror movie or I would say not even scary. The only moment which may cause you to jump a little is when the ghost suddenly appear straight to ur face….which is quite predictable in horror movie)

I’ll consider it’s a great movie if I still get scared even after ppl telling me tts the ghost will appear like this and that. But it doesn’t happened to be that way with this movie. I was able to predict almost all when the ghost will appear in this movie n who’s on the bad/gud side. When matt's sister said the bodies of the dead ppl were missing, I sumhow i knew tts it must be somewhr within Matt’s bedroom.

Basically wat happen to the dead bodies was quite the same as in ‘The Maid’, an asian horror movie. they kept the dead bodies within ‘that room’. I personally think tts ‘The Maid is more horror that hauntin’ in Conn. It still give me a chill even though I watched it for a 2^nd time.- tt means a good movie but I’m not gonna watch the maid again. I have enuf…mostly bcoz I now a bit of Chinese history about ghost (thanx to my friend coz telling me tt, just thinking bout it is enuf to make me chill)

Anyway I gv 3.5/5. character Matt was perfectly played. Supported by his mother!! I was really sad nearly the end of the movie, when matt is dying.

(ooh, I guess…I review 3 horror movie in this 1.) I’ll rate 1/5 for The Unborn. And 4/5 for The Maid – coz some of its scene reminds me of Ju-On and The Ring which is bad.

Fast n Furious – yeah…3.5/5 is enuf.

Is doesn’t really makes me feel…’wow…tts was a damn good movie’. not so much stunt and action as I hope for. Too many ‘spinning’ scenes which make me feel dizzy.

Didn’t show many great cars as before amd again full with chicks and babes (as expected), standard rule if u'r dealing with criminals. Entertaining for a viewing but it doesn't give me anything new to a franchise that has been extremely one note from the get go. Enjoy it and watch the racers act like rock stars!!!! 3.5/5!!!

Keith - its 2008 movie. i've download it for quite a while but just happen to watch it now. its Another 'A Walk To Remember' movie. although the story line was simple but it is a good movie!!! totally enjoyed it even at 1st i thought this gonna be some kinda cheap remake of 'A Walk To Remember'. but yet it blew me!!!

so if there any 'A Walk To Remember' die-hard-fan out there, go and watch this movie.

Knowing - if u can not accept logical thinking of possibility-scientifically...then i advise u dont watch this movie. but then...if u are a fan of this kind of movie genre...then it is a gud movie to watch!!! i'm not saying the part whr 'aliens' can sumhow predict the future then 'tell' this to a kid to write it down was logic (i would say it is ridiculous). but the set of numbers produce was great!!!

despite the fact tt it is a great film but i really heat the ending!!!! soooo damn rubbish!!! the whole part of saving the kids thing was totally ridiculous (n wat the hell with the bloody rabbits??)it was annoying.

anyway i think N.Cage did a great acting job in this movie altho this is not the same action-type like he used to. the grafic and sci-fi was ok - the normal effects we usually see in games or other movies of this genre.

overall..i gv 3/5!!! (but this movie did scared my coursemates..n she totally belive tt this really gonna happen....i bet she really into this movie huh)

p/s: i've heard the dragon ball evolution was bad. but i dont reallt have any intention to wacth it anyway. just wacthing the trailer is enuf to judge tts its a bad movie.

went to matlock bath with faiz (n basically it was his idea). he want to hve a gud weekend after all the hard work for his final project and so do i but in my case my project havent finish yet.
but yes, it was worth going thr. a gud place to relax, away everything.

well other than tt..nothing much interesting going on other than went out with my coursemates, watching movie, bwling, dancing etc.

since last 2wks, i've bn skippin all my lects since i am running out of time for my lab work. (plus my supervisor ask me to repeat the whole expt- to see if the result will differ 4rm b4 and changed the manual a bit, just in cased to get more ppt). i tk bout 3wks to finish (or till d point i nd to repeat my expt) but less than 3days to be at the same point when i repeat it. obviously bcz the 2nd time i alrdy knw how things going.

anyway watever it is i should finish my lab on 20th march (n i want it to be done as well). guess, luck wasnt on my side. mass spec, NMR n chromatography machines were in updating process. so not just my sample but others couldnt be analysed. so i stuck for bout almost 2weeks. thanx god, those machines were start running early last week.

meet my supervisor for d 2nd time. she impressed wif my work n progress (which i am happy about it). then cntinue wif the final part which is Gold-Nanoparticles (Au-NPs) complex. Au-NPs expt was amazing. trust me. the most fascinating expt i ever done. less in 10 mins i were able to see the colour changes 4rm brown to colourless to purple-ish which slowly darkened to dark red. (about 2/3 mins after d addn of citrate into gold-solution). -Expt done.

last friday should be the last day for me to do my lab work but who can tell the titration of 1ml can take 4hrs!!?? 10 -20 microns at a time.~duh (plus just use 7 mg of my product, whr i got loads of them)

80% of my lab work was done. just 'size exclusion chromatography' for purification then another uv n emission, then done!!!! cant wait for that.

n now i know how to operate most of the machines in those phd's lab. from low to high vacuum pump, super vacuum pump, toxic pump, (trust me i dont get it either y they hve so many pumps, but now i do), kugelrhor machine, rp-hplc, H-NMR, uv, emission and near infra-red machines. how to do 'aqua region' n handle them. aqua region is basically 2 very strong n concentrated acid combined 2gether - which only Postgrad students are allow to do it.

syukur alhamdulillah, duit yg hilang tue..dh dpt balik.
honestly. i dont really know n understand what happened.

30-dec, £416.16 was taken out from my acc, twice.
31-dec, i went to natwest. they said, wait for the details to appear in bank statement and come again on friday.

2-jan, went to natwest again, since the details still didnt appear, they call the HQ to find out the details of the transaction. n finally i was told that the transaction was either via internet or telephone and the payment was made to crew clothing. then, after i mentioned i didnt knew what crew clothing is, and obviously what kind of thing i'm gonna buy up to £830++ , plus, those are the money i have left up untill march, so they gave me a number to call and it was natwest fraud-case department (or something like that)
so, i called them was told that the money were still pending. then, he told me something (n unfortunately i dont understand what was it, he spoke to fast plus with uk accent) n i just said yeah, sure. then he asked to call again tomorrow.

3-jan, i was just about to call the department when i found out i gt my money back. there are nothing bout the money being taken out, or paid in. it was like nothing happened.

anyway, thanx god, i gt my money back. n hopefully things like diz wont happen again to me or anybody else. i'll go to natwest again this monday to confirm bout this and probably i'll change my card for b8r security.
and to those yg mendoakan n concern bout wat happen, thanx you!! moga allah permudahkan hidup kiter semua n murahkan rezeki kita. amin!!

then, 2gether with my coursemates we organised games' party where we mostly play wii n ps2, plus a horror movie 'The Orpahange ' (which is not scary) and that was it up untill 2day.

yeah...finally i was able to finish my rough-work for project survey. plus, my supervisor was impressed with my work!! hoho. =D (yay, gt extra marks for that). the meeting today was done in just 10 min.

then, got another meeting just for international students in chemistry department and the best part was the foods provided were great and its halal!!! So, boleh mkn puas2...and even the time was perfect....it was lunch time!!!!

finally, came across to the latest RSC mag...
recognise the building?? yeah...its the twin tower!!!! what bout the story inside it....well, i havent read it yet...so later k.

just finish watching this movie and its totally worth watching. strongly recomended!!!
the story was bout a program that promised to change teenagers behavior from bad to good (in general) but it was a very 'sick' program that the parent knows nothing about. the person who create it play a role like he is a god while the commander in charge forced the inmates doing some dirty job. any death due to their carelessness were report as an escape trial.

(ok can't say more...or i'll spoil everything)

dpt elaun last monday....n just within 1 week...i've already spent about....(sorry can't tell you...but it is a big number) (T_T)

n for the past 2 weeks, i've never being so 'nerd' n 'skema' in my life. trust me...it was a complete disaster. assignment on wed followed by lab report and an email from my supervisor asking bout my project, which i have to lie bout it. as the result...my weekend dh jadi tunggang langgang with all the journals, books, notes...etc. (and the same things happened for last week)
anyway, my project is about 'luminescent lanthanide sensor for biomolecule detection' (well, it sounds more or less sumthign like that). n i've learned bout 'glucose sensor' and from that i've thinking of combining this two complexes since i did read sumwhere in a journal bout this kind of thing which resulted in the more intensed absorption, and what important is more sensitive sensor.
i've spent about 4days working on it, working out the reaction equation, mechanism, whether this reaction will proceed etc...n finally i can get a hold of it...well, theoretically.

monday(17nov) - when i met my supervisor...she told me that i shouldnt think soooooo faaar ahead. although she kind of agree with me...but that is a phd kind of project. not for a BSc student like me.
i was soo...AAARRRGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

luckily they told me...they impressed with my work....but that wasn't going to happen. =(
they'll provide the ligand the reaction as well as the procedure...but i've to find the journals that related to it,again, doing all the writing stuff, again, work out the mechanism again...n do the experiment (this one i haven't started yet).

tuesday (18nov) - i'm started doing the lab works which start at 5pm and if based on schedule should finish sumwhere around 9pm (4hrs)...but thanx god...i can got off early that day around 7-ish.

wednesday(19nov) - submitting assignment by 2pm.

thurs(20nov) - meet my supervisor again. n this time we focussed more about my 'real' project. nway...i've never hate thursday soo much b4..but now..i got project works which start at 10 - 1pm, the class 2-6pm!!! ARRGGGHHHH!!!

friday(21nov) - missed the 1st class, then went for a workshop, meeting my supervisor and head group( senior phd student)...and lastly...submitting lab report. huh, and that was the end!!!

hi all.
just woke-up 4rm sleep after having some headache (myb bcoz f the rain 2day).
anyway dat isn't the point here.
while i was 'you-tube-ing' looking for a new thing to watch but lastly i end up with X-factor.

all the videos below were on the Micheal Jackson's week (last 2 weeks). i hate last week theme which was 'big band' (no specific reason).

well here comes. the 1st one is Rachel. even nabil-nabil keep on saying that she is kinda 'over' n berlagak which i think she is...but still i like her performance. although the dancers on the bike really make me 'geli gelemam'. eeuuurgh.

then..Austin!! although there are bunch of rumors i heard bout him ( but i don't give a damn bout it anyway). his performance was great. i love the way he sang that song - billy jean!!!

ooh, here come my fav!! Diana Vickers!!!!!!!!!! =D
she's cute isn't she?? and yes, she is a typical british girl. enuf said.

and last but not least, Scott Bruton!!
i just love the way he sang this song. but his performance last week was 'ok'. not that brilliant. n his 2nd performance was total disaster. too bad that Daniel sang better than him( i hate to admit it) coz i hate him - again with no specific reason.

ooh finally its weekend!!! n i can sit back n relax for couple of days before starting my final year project.

anyway, salam takziah to faiz due to the lost of his farther. al-fatihah;

amin....moga roh nya dicucuri rahmat.

n not to forget to our fellow friends who are going back & continue their study in Malaysia. (or perhaps, they are in Malaysia already). i heard its around 10ppl who were sent back home. I'm not so sure bout the number tho but good luck with them n of course to all of us!!

anyway, here are the list of things that i did last week up till today.
(not in order)

attending open house in Nottingham. thanks to odey, mira, beya, ayu & org2 serumah mereka coz inviting me n others. the foods were superb!! n delicious esp the 'mee bandung' even i'm allergic to prawns but still i ate them. (alang2 dh mkn, telan jer terus) :P
my coursemate birthday party. we celebrating it at Cafe Soya. even the meats weren't halal but the seafood n vegie choices are mouth-watering as well. its a nice place by the way.
Las Iguanas!! I looooovvve their foods!! went there with hairi on last friday since i finished my lab earlier that day. only chiken is halal but it is more than enough. their services are good and on top of all the prices are sooooo cheap. having 2 starters n 2 main courses plus 2 drinks = £23.5.
ooh how can i forget this, my own open house which was held at this lovely home :P. sponsored by nabil n zahran. n special thanks to zatil n k.ifa for helping us.
ours dancing game arrived last friday n we keep on playing it till i can't really feel my legs few days after. why ours?? coz its a share btw 4 ppl. its a good exercise btway.
finishing my lab report early morning last night and also completing my last lab session of the year today!! thank goodness i only have 3 labs for my final year but unfortunately labs for my final year project are not included. so frankly speaking, i dunno how many more labs are waiting to be done. =(
3 course meal dinner last wed. wan making the starter which was cauliflower soup. it taste really nice!! trust me. since hairi is kinda an expert chef, so he prepared the main dish and it was stuff-chiken!!!!! and i made a raspberry/strawberry cheese cake for the dessert.
and my item of the year has bn dispatched!! can wait to receive it soon.

wah wah....sedar2 dh 1mggu pose...which also means...3more weeks utk raya..n plus couple days more b4 i'm going bak to UK. ¬sigh (eh...xbaik mengeluh)

semalam jer pun...dh ader sorg dua balik surrey then next two weeks ramai lgi akan berangkat. ngeh3x.

ooh ya...last week found my long-lost neighbour kat salam perantauan BH. then yest, jumper member serumah aka ketua org2 bujang birm 2gether wif budak master ber-2 tuh. arini 2org skewl mates aq, esok...xtaw lah saper yg bertuah tue.. =D

last 2 years me antar jugak salam perantauan nih....1st year kat utusan...my mum ckp ader kuar dekat2 nk raya...2nd year antar kat BH....but xtaw published ker x. klu diz year klu antar jugak bley??(eventho me raya kat malaysia jugak...hehehe)

just a quick update anyway.

been to PD...*forgot when already*. credit to faiz n ali for the hotel n transportation.

and...yes, the olympic is finally started!! Hooraay!!
even i'm not really into sports...but i do enjoy watching them esp volleyball, arching n kayak-ing.
rasenyer already spent more than 12 hrs sitting in front of tv per-day. ~duh. thanx god skrg tgh cuti...n i'm allowed to do anything i want. hahahaha [gelak durjana]

school holiday dah dekat...n it also means 'lets jalan2 lg'. haha. yelah kan...bulan pose nnt nk jln xlrt..but still on for movies, bowling etc. =D

n here comes Jonas Brothers'! heard their song in hitz.tv titled 'when u look me in the eyes'. yes...datz 1 of their hits...i can say that all songs in this album are great!! totally into them. but sadly this are their 2007 album. n i'm still looking for their latest 2008 album - 'a little bit longer'. but tgh busy ngan bnder lain dulu..nnt lah bru download. heheh!!

xingat biler dh tarikh...but it was week 2 since me pulang kat tanah-air tercinta+panas nih...
me went to bukit larut. 1st time g situ...even bnder tuh dh berkurun lama kot..haha...tpi xperlah kan...jnji pergi b4 bukit tuh kne tarah..
sronok gak lah...pnjat2 bukit nih....mcm2 ada...

then...dh x ingat...buat aper...till last weekend...
went to penang..staying at shida's wif 4 other frens of us...
nway...mls nk celoteh pnjang....
just klik kat sini

then...balik kl on monday...after rehat2 kejap kat upsi...umah feedo to be exact. thanx to basyir n *small bo* sbb tlg antar n jemput kitorunk kat train station...n also to ustat...antar balik. even xder lah kenal sgt pun diorg tuh...moreover...dgn krisis minyak mahal skrg... =D

rest for 2days...then...henset yg selama nih sepi...tetiber berdering dan berjoget...
" tofek...aq smpi sok...dlm kol 1. kat times square" [aka TS]...oh...member dri PD dtg....
so...kuar lah khamis tu g TS....then hari esok nyer pun...kuar Mid. then....mlm tue...ader lak member dri JB msg..."towpark...aq dtg KL weekend nih!". ooh...another friend of mine dtg KL...
[ntah aper yg best kat KL pun aq x taw]

on saturday...kuar ngan member2 matrix...pgi smpi ptg....x daya dh sebenarnyer...then...finally..sumer org balik...
n at night...my cousin in UIA texted me..." oit2...aku nk mai umah hang esok....byq utang tertunggak"...¬ooh...ader lgi nk dtg...

so...ahadnyer...she came to my house...n we went to mid (again)...n tersgtlah silap sbb kuar on weekend...org sgt2 lah ramai....but luckily...boleyh jugak berasak2....¬duh

n today...kuar lgi kat TS n area2 sekitar....wif my ex-saserians, ex-classmates to be exact. mcm bese....kuar window shopping...since xder paper pun nk di beli....main bowling...gendang2 sket...pusing.......

and balik....!! finaly...dpt jugak me berehat...even lebih kurg 2days as well..since dh plan nk kuar diz thurs....n diz weekend, ader program kat asrama nih...n me kne gak lah terlibat even secara x lgsung...[as staff asrama...hahaha =D ]
